Forest Walks
March 19, April 23, May 14 and June 11, 2023
![]() |
Seavey Vineyard consists of 160 acres of ancient oak woodlands surrounding 40 acres of vines and a winery. Oak woodlands are California’s most biodiverse terrestrial ecosystem. Oak woodlands sequester massive amounts of carbon dioxide and provide multiple ecosystem services to our region.
We invite you to take a walk with us through Seavey Vineyard’s oak woodlands and learn about our efforts to protect and preserve them, efforts that you make possible with your membership. |
We will host four groups of up to twenty members and their guests for a forest walk/wine tasting at 2 pm on March 19, April 23, May 14, and June 11.
Each walk will be led by Fred Seavey, the leader of our forest management and preservation efforts.

We will walk up through the forest to near the top of the estate. We will then taste some wines in the midst of an oak grove with hillside views. We will then descend back home through a combination of woodlands and vineyards. The total distance is about two miles. Please wear walking shoes.
These are special events only for our members and their guests. There is no charge for participating, and participation does not count against your credits for complimentary wine tastings or anything else. Please join us by emailing wine@seaveyvineyard.com to reserve your spots for a forest walk/wine tasting at 2 pm on March 19, April 23, May 14, or June 11.
